About ME

Greetings, I am Xavier Alan Woodley, a first year Masters of Athletic Coaching candidate at Florida State University (FSU). I am from Tallahassee, FL by way of Jacksonville, FL. I have a love for sports journalism and analyzing. I earned my Associates Degree from Tallahassee State College (TSC) formerly Tallahassee Community College in Spring 2023, then I earned my Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Florida A&M University (FAMU) in Summer 2025. At TSC, I discovered my passion for writing and being able to advance a career in journalism.

At FAMU I discovered my loved for being able to impact sports in coaching. At FAMU I was to able deepen my storytelling abilities in sports. My professors called me the School of Journalism’s Stephen A. Smith because of the many sports topics I liked to discuss and analyze. I built a lot of sports talking skills at FAMU and I look to continue it for a lifetime.

At FSU, I am looking to progress my sports teaching abilities as I want to advance a career in sports coaching as well.
